Airforce One Featured On TLC's Overhaulin'
Hummer H1 Project:

Airforce One Performance Industries was proud to be a contributor to Overhaulin's
&
CNN's "Warrior One" project that was displayed at the '06 SEMA show.
This particular H1 had quite a history behind it before Chip Foose and the gang
at TLC's popular show got their mitts, saws, mills and paint on it. Autoblog
has the big story, here is
an excerpt:
"The well-known Hummer H1 was purchased at a Kuwaiti dealership and used
during 2003 by CNN while they were embedded with the First Battalion, 7th Marines
during the war. The crew came under heavy fire near Baghdad in April of that
year while driving the vehicle.
After its tour of duty was over, the vehicle was turned over to TLC's
Overhaulin' crew in the summer of 2006. Doing what they do best, the team
overhauled the engine and body, and also added a network-worthy entertainment
system. Airbrush artists were set loose on the exterior as well, adding images
of photojournalists and military men and women to honor "those who have served
during the war and those who have covered it."

CNN has big plans for this very special vehicle:
"Warrior One will tour military bases and other sites across the country,
before it is auctioned in January by Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. CNN will donate
the proceeds from the auction to the Fisher House Foundation, an organization
that provides temporary residence for families of patients receiving major medical
care at military and Veterans Administration centers."
Whoever becomes the highest bidder at Barret-Jackson will not only get the
flashiest, most pedigreed civilian H1 out there, they will also get a custom-engineered,
custom-painted version of our high-performance stainless-steel intakes, featuring
our Oversize Conical Power Stack filter.
Airforce One Performance has production stainless steel intake kits for the
Hummer H2 available now with kits for the
Hummer H3 coming soon. Here are a few more views of the "Warrior One" engine
bay proudly showing off our handiwork — as transfigured by Chip Foose and the
brilliant Overhaulin' crew.
